Job description:
For our rapidly growing portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic Project Assistant (f/m/x) for a limited term of 24 months.
Your tasks:
- You will support the acquisition process for development finance projects, including the identification of opportunities, preparation of expressions of interest and technical proposals, recruitment of experts and other related activities.
- You will support the project management and monitoring of on-going sustainable development projects (regular exchange with project experts and partners, reviewing and approving contracts, planning meetings and events including participation)
- You contribute to the creation of project reports and other deliverables to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects outputs.
- You realize short term missions to contribute to project success (feasibility studies, training or event assistance or other technical contributions).
- You use social media to promote our work.
Your profile:
- University degree, preferably at Masters’ level, in Business Administration, Economics, Development Finance, International Studies or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- First relevant working experience gained through internships and working student positions.
- Interest in working on finance sector advisory projects in emerging and developing countries.
- Motivated, dynamic and flexible to thrive in a multicultural, fast-changing environment.
- Experience in providing technical expertise and assistance to partner institutions.
- Fluent in business English (working language); good knowledge of French or other foreign languages is advantageous.
- Commitment to take responsibility and proactively contributing to business outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate activities with multiple stakeholders, including high-level individuals.
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and to meet tight deadlines.
- Professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
