Statement by Frankfurt School President Nils Stieglitz

“Our thoughts are drawn to those of you who are affected by the escalating conflict in Ukraine.

I am pained to see that war has returned to Europe. This is an attack on the values our society is built upon. I echo the calls from around the world to stand with all citizens making a sacrifice to defend enlightenment, humanism, democracy, freedom, and the rule of law.”
