Project: Funding Frictions After the Global Financial Crisis
This position offers researchers with a PhD in Finance or Economics the opportunity to conduct high-quality research in Finance with a special focus on funding frictions after the global financial crisis. The candidate will be required to collaborate with faculty and PhD students to advance the school’s research agenda and publish in top-tier finance, economics, and management science journals. The candidate will also be ready to engage in academic dissemination by presenting research at leading conferences.
In compliance with Frankfurt School’s ambition of becoming one of the leading business schools in Europe, we seek a candidate who can produce high-level research and publications at international levels. This position is entirely focused on research with no teaching requirements. The duration of the employment is flexible with a maximum duration of two years.
Requirements
PhD, preferably in Finance or Economics.
A research focus on the broad area of funding frictions is necessary for this position.
Very good English skills, both spoken and written. Independent and goal-oriented working style, even in hectic situations and under time pressure. Commitment, initiative, and flexibility.
