The Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance is a strategic cooperation between the Frankfurt School and UN Environment Programme. The FS-UNEP Centre strives to foster transformational changes by collaborating with financial stakeholders through strategic advisory services to deliver innovative, smart, and practical solutions. The Centre takes a unique approach by combining research and on-the-ground expertise to finance the transition towards a greener, climate-resilient future that enables societies to prosper.
Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance is an increasingly important cross-cutting topic that is often in synergy with our other core thematic areas. Thus, we support financial institutions in implementing a broad scope of activities across the world building on our existing expertise in other thematic areas.
The provision of training courses across a large range of topics is another crucial part of our services. Classroom and digital workshops, as well as on-the-job training and coaching sessions are the most important training methods we use.
