Today the CHE University Ranking (Centre for Higher Education Development) 2020/21 was published. Frankfurt School has improved and reached the top tier in even more categories since the last CHE rankings in 2017, when FS achieved nine from twelve top-tier positions. The bachelor programmes at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management make the top tier in eleven out of twelve categories: teacher support, support in studies, courses offered, study organisation, exams, research orientation, job market preparation, rooms, library, IT-infrastructure and overall study situation. In the support-for-stays-abroad category, Frankfurt School finished mid-table. The students surveyed also gave top marks in the 2020/21 rankings for the four overriding criteria: courses offered, teacher support, support in the study entry phase and overall study situation.
"The CHE ranking is particularly important for prospective students when choosing a place to study," said Professor Nils Stieglitz, President of the Frankfurt School. “We support our students from their first day and support them in their development with an extensive and research-based academic programme, personal advice and career services. Our CHE ranking makes us very proud and is a success for all employees who offer our students first-class teaching and advice. "
Excelling in three rankings
CHE‘s is the third ranking where Frankfurt School has performed well this year. In April 2020, Frankfurt School took fifth place in the business-administration-studies section of business magazine Wirtschaftswoche’s German university rankings, four places higher than 2019. This makes it the best private business school in Germany. In March 2020, Manager-Magazin also named Frankfurt School the best university for auditors.
"These three rankings show that Frankfurt School is one of the leading business schools in Germany in Europe and that our graduates are preferred by renowned companies", said Professor Stieglitz.

About the CHE ranking
The CHE university ranking is considered the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world. Every year a third of the subjects are reassessed. In 2020, this included subjects such as business administration, economics, business informatics and law. Over 300 universities and colleges take part in the ranking. In addition to information about studies, teaching, equipment and research, the ranking also takes student evaluations into account regarding study conditions and facts about teaching and research. The full rankings are available on ZEIT ONLINE.
