Networking, experiencing the community and getting to know each other - this was the motto under which Frankfurt School welcomed its new MBA students last Friday, September 23, 2022. A total of 186 students are starting their MBA, 51 of them the Executive MBA (EMBA), 39 the International Healthcare MBA (IHM) and 34 the Full-Time MBA. Another 62 students are doing the Part-Time MBA and are studying in Frankfurt, Hamburg or Munich. During performance by Drum Conversation, they learned about the power of drumming, practiced expressing dialogue as well as soft and wild sounds, and thus experienced the FS community feeling with all their senses.
Arun Kumarasamy, Head of Department of Interventional Radiology, Hospital Sachsenhausen Frankfurt, completed his International Hospital and Healthcare MBA in 2013 and encouraged the new MBA students to always stay positive and not to lose faith in their own ability to succeed. He reviewed the MBA programme and recalled the many challenges he had overcome. These would benefit him today in his management role as chief physician. His motto is: “No matter how difficult the challenge is, always stay positive and believe in yourself!”
Alumni Lena Fessler and Jens Schweinebraden introduced the FS Community, which includes FS students, alumni, professors, staff and corporate partners. They invited the new MBAs to take advantage of the many networking opportunities. Lena Fessler, Head of Corporate Strategy at LBBW Immobilien Management GmbH, graduated from the FS MBA program in 2018 and is involved in the FS Alumni e.V. board and thinks: “Every Class, every professor and all the different collaborations with classmates were enriching and helped us to improve ourself on a personal and professional way.”
