Female Finance Heroes

Good access to the labour market and education is crucial when it comes to successfully integrating people with a refugee or migrant background into our society. A recent study by the Institute for Employment Research shows that women require more support in this regard. To facilitate their entry into the finance and insurance industry, Frankfurt School’s Ausbildungsakademie launched the innovative Female Finance Heroes qualification programme together with the recruiting company socialbee. It is aimed specifically at women with a refugee or migrant background and starts in August 2024.

Basic theoretical knowledge, soft skills training and practical experience in a company

In the first three months of the programme, basic business knowledge is taught. There is also soft skills training on the German labour market. In 40 days of training, the participants, who must have an academic background and knowledge of German, are prepared for a subsequent one-year traineeship in a company.

socialbee specialises in the integration of refugees and migrants into the German labour market. The non-profit organisation was founded by Zarah Bruhn, who is now the Commissioner for Social Innovation at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The Frankfurt School Ausbildungsakademie has over 20 years of experience in commercial vocational training. It sees itself as a partner for training companies in the financial sector, helping them to recruit and promote young talent for training.
