Frankfurt School and Rödl & Partner start ESG Academy

On 12 June the Rödl & Partner ESG Academy was launched for the fifth time. Here, employees of the auditing unit acquire elementary basics on sustainability reporting in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Rödl & Partner have jointly designed the program and created an academically based, practice-oriented certificate course.

Auditor Dr. Christian Maier from the Sustainability Services unit at Rödl & Partner, Professor Dr Jörg Werner, who holds a professorship in accounting at Frankfurt School, and Jasmin Engel, Director of Executive Education at Frankfurt School head the collaboration. The program is scheduled for eight weeks and will is held entirely virtually in English.

"Our colleagues in the auditing unit work for our clients all over the world", explains Dr. Christian Maier. "Training programmes must therefore be offered digitally. This is the only way to reconcile it with our decentralised activities. The ESG Academy makes colleagues fit for sustainability reporting, it covers all topics in depth, the case studies meet our challenges - the programme is excellently done, simply attractive."
