AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) has re-accredited Frankfurt School of Finance & Management for another five years. This makes Frankfurt School one of only sixteen business faculties in Germany to have been awarded this international seal of quality. With its EQUIS and AMBA accreditations, Frankfurt School is one of only four German “triple-crown” institutions. The peer review team particularly emphasised the growth of the business school over the last five years, the large number of student initiatives, which indicate a high degree of identification, the academic excellence and the strong connections in industry and society.
“We are proud of the re-accreditation by AACSB. It confirms our outstanding quality and that of our degree programmes”, says Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, President of Frankfurt School. “Our strategy of combining cutting-edge research and practical relevance is successful”, he continues. This is also shown by the current research ranking of the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), in which Frankfurt School scores excellently. It ranks number 1 in Germany and is among the top 100 worldwide. “The UTD ranking and triple-crown accreditations confirm that we are a leading business school in Europe.”
AACSB International is the world's largest network for business education. More than 1,900 organisations such as companies, business schools and universities from over 100 countries are members. The aim is to improve the quality of management education. AACSB International awards one of the world's most prestigious accreditations. Currently, 1,037 universities in 65 countries are AASCB-accredited. This is less than six per cent of all universities that award business degrees.
