The graduation ceremony is the highlight and celebratory conclusion of the studies for all Frankfurt School graduates. It is an opportunity to look back and celebrate their success with family and friends. Last Saturday, a total of 586 graduates were bid farewell in three academic ceremonies at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.

In addition to the official presentation of certificates on stage, the speeches by FS alumni are always a special part of the programme. The three speakers were Dr Sabrina Zahn, Partner at mayerhöfer & co and FS PhD alumna, Sabine Schoon-Renné, Executive comdirect at Commerzbank and FS Bachelor in Business Administration and Master of Banking alumna, and Anke Schaks, Member of the Board at ERGO Deutschland AG and FS Diploma alumna. Impressions from the students‘ perspective rounded off the programme.

The celebrations also provided the perfect setting to honour outstanding academic achievements. The best students from all degree programmes were awarded the Academic Excellence Award. Sarah Schmidtke, Manging Director Interessengemeinschaft Frankfurter Kreditinstitute IFK and Bankenverband Mitte, also presented the IFK Award to the three best graduates from our full-time degree programmes.
