The Master of Science in Real Estate offers a flexible 3-day model that supports part-time work. Students also benefit from personalised mentoring, connections with industry experts, and a global network of real estate companies and alumni.
The Real Estate Masters programme has achieved full RICS accreditation for the maximum period of five years. This prestigious accreditation sets the standard for international real estate education.

The Frankfurt School Real Estate Institute (FS REI) was founded in November 2023 with the participation of numerous high-ranking representatives from leading companies in the real estate and financial sectors. Frankfurt School has established a new center of excellence focused on key issues in real estate and finance. The institute is sponsored by 19 corporate partners.
The FS REI, which is part of the Finance Department at Frankfurt School, is headed by Prof. Dr. Kerstin Hennig.
The Real Estate Master's curriculum supports innovative thinkers ready to excel in real estate. Our programme equipa you with the tools to thrive in diverse real estate environments including banks, advisory firms, and corporations with a specialised skills in development, investment, and asset management. Gain technical and analytical expertise necessary to address current and future challenges in real estate finance and real estate development to excel in this dynamic industry.
First year
1.1 Students gain an deep understanding of current theories and concepts in the real estate value chain and relevant interdisciplinary areas such as macroeconomics and law.
1.2 Students can assess and reflect on complex real estate and financial problems in an analytically and conceptually sound manner, taking into account the effects of macroeconomic dynamics and future-relevant areas (e.g. sustainability, digitalisation) that have a significant impact on the industry. Students understand current economic and real estate industry research.
2.1 Students can apply and create advanced models for real estate products and solutions by evaluating the importance of different information sources and potential shortcomings of data sets and models. Analytical approach is based on critical reflection and mathematical rigor.
2.2 Students analyse financial and real estate problems by applying scientific methods and well-founded theoretical and methodological approaches that appropriately adapt the theories, quantitative and qualitative methods, and analytical tools.
Second year
3.1 Students present their knowledge in a convincing and well-structured manner in writing, presenting, discussing and defending research-based findings in interdisciplinary fields of research and application.
3.2 Students reach common goals by effective teamwork. They recognise conflict potentials and reach target-oriented solutions for complex situations. Students use interdisciplinary training to communicate research findings and theoretical assumptions to different audiences to cater to diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
4.1 Students understand and reflect on ethical and social implications as well as personal and cultural differences of their recommendations and decisions in an international environment.
4.2 Students understand the ethical and legal responsibilities and consequences arising from real estate products, developments, ESG requirements, AI implications, and management practices.

The Master in Real Estate programme offers a distinctive approach known as the 3 Day Model, allowing students to balance part-time work with full-time studies. Classes take place three days a week, providing ample opportunity for self-study, language courses, or part-time employment during the remaining weekdays. Additionally, join block week lectures or excursions.
The Entrepreneurship Centre inspires ideas, fosters connections, and offers training opportunities to Frankfurt School students, all in partnership with external stakeholders like investors, alumni, founders, and partners. Join our Incubator for continuous support or jump start your project through our Accelerator programme. You can also choose the Entrepreneurship elective in collaboration with TechQuartier during your fourth semester to enhance your specialisation with a double focus.
In your fourth semester, dive deep into specialised areas of interest and choose two elective courses to supplement your master coursework. From Data Basis & Cloud Computing to Risk & Crisis Management, these electives align with your professional aspirations and broaden your knowledge beyond the core curriculum.
