Professor of Corporate Culture and Human Resources of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. His research interests include change management, performance-oriented remuneration and human capital.
Born on 22 January 1955 in Schrobenhausen (Bavaria). From 1975 to 1980, studies of economics with emphasis on Human Resources Management in Augsburg. Up to 1984, assistant lecturer at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen. From 1984 to 1986, employed with PA Consulting Group in Frankfurt am Main. From 1986 to 1998, in various positions at BfG Bank AG, incl. Head of Human Resources Development, TQM Project Manager and Head of Human Resources. During this time, member of the board of trustees of Bankakademie, honorary judge at Frankfurt Labour Court and member of the Managing Board of Vereinigung für Bankberufsbildung. Also lecturer of Human Resources Development and Organizational Development at Bankakademie. Doctorate at the University of Stuttgart Hohenheim in 1989. From 1999 to 2000, member of the management of PA Consulting. Since 1 July 2000, Professor of Corporate Culture and Human Resources Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
