Prof. Dr. Thomas Weck is Associate Professor for Public Law, Regulatory Law and Comparative Law. Until joining Frankfurt School, he was Lead Analyst at the Monopolies Commission in Bonn (2012-2022) and previously worked at a British and an American law firm in Brussels (2007 to end 2012). At the Monopolies Commission, he focused on issues of competition and regulatory law. While working there, he habilitated on "Regulation of innovative financial instruments - risk as an object of supervisory law" (2020). Prof. Weck is co-chair of the German chapter of the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) and a member of the "Wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für das gesamte Regulierungsrecht", and a member of Association of Friends of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation.
