Prof. Dr. Kerstin Hennig

Personal Details

Prof. Dr. Kerstin Hennig has been Professor of Management Practice in Real Estate at Frankfurt School (FS), Head of the FS Real Estate Institute, and Academic Director of FS Real Estate Executive Education since November 2023. She studied business administration in Germany, London, and Paris, and earned her doctorate in economics at EBS University. With 25 years of experience in international real estate development, management, and investment, she has worked with debis Immobilienmanagement, Tishman Speyer Properties, UBS AG, IVG Immobilien AG, and Groß & Partner. 
During this time, Prof. Dr. Hennig regularly lectured and taught at various international universities and institutes. From 2018 to 2023, she led the Real Estate Management Institute at EBS University as Head of EBS Real Estate Management Institute, Academic Director of EBS Real Estate Executive Education, and Professor of Real Estate. She teaches and researches in the field of real estate management with a focus on impact investing, sustainability, and urban concepts. 
Prof. Dr. Hennig is a member of the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Executive Board of iddiw - Institut der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft e.V., and the Board of ZIA Deutschland Mitte. She also serves on the supervisory boards of DWS Grundbesitz GmbH, and PBB AG, as well as the advisory board of KINGSTONE Investment Management GmbH.
